Mindfulness & Meditation Coaching
Pairing meditation and mindfulness with coaching is the ultimate power duo: you can reduce stress, stay grounded, and increase well being while also working through internal and external blocks and creating your own action plans to navigate your way through these situations. Whether you are struggling with an overactive mind or feel that you just can't relax, you will learn about the many science based benefits of mindfulness and meditation first hand through learning and incorporating various techniques into your everyday life and having some coaching along the way as well.
Individuals that may benefit from mindfulness and meditation coaching the most:
-
Does it feel like your mind and inner dialogue are your biggest enemy instead of your biggest ally?
-
Are you constantly thinking a thousand thoughts a minute, unable to turn your mind off?
-
Is it difficult to fall asleep at night because your thoughts keep you awake?
-
Is stress or anxiety present in your life and are you looking for tools to help in reducing these emotions? ***
-
Are you simply looking for a way to get more grounded and increase well-being?
If any of these statements resonated with you, mindfulness and meditation may be a perfect fit.
What is mindfulness and meditation?
Mindfulness is maintaining a moment to moment awareness; it means to live in the present moment. This awareness can be towards our thoughts, emotions, body, and environment. The awareness also comes with acceptance; we do not judge anything we experience as “good” or “bad”. Through mindfulness, we are given the opportunity to not live worrying about the future or ruminating on the past - but rather we begin to practice enjoying the present. Meditation is the practice of concentrated focus on a sound, object, visualization, the breath, movement, or attention itself in order to increase awareness of the present moment, reduce stress, promote relaxation, and enhance personal and spiritual growth.
How do we work together?
During our time together, we will “try on” all different types of meditation and mindfulness exercises, as there is no “one size fits all”. The activities we will do will range from yoga to breathing techniques, mindful eating and multiple types of guided meditations - even including tailored meditations for you and whatever situations are being navigated in your personal life. You’ll get a chance to try a variety of these styles during sessions to see which one resonates with you the most, serves as the best outlet, and brings you the most joy.
Benefits of Meditation and Mindfulness include but are not limited to:
-Decreases Anxiety & Stress
-Hardwires Your Brain To Be More Calm And Less Reactive

What does this look like when paired with life coaching?
We pair mindfulness and meditation practices with navigating the situations in your life. During sessions we will dedicate some time to actively pinpoint where/if there is stress and anxiety , and work together to figure out how to move through them with coaching, and ultimately set up action plans. You may even decide to cultivate your own mindfulness and meditation rituals and routines into your action plans.
Through this personalized experience, by the end of our time together you will be armed with multiple forms of mindful and meditative tools and knowledge. Learning meditation and how to be mindful ultimately gives you the freedom of choice of how you want to experience the world around you from moment to moment. And as Bruce Schneider said, “Every moment describes who you are, and gives you the opportunity to decide if that’s who you want to be”. Let’s give you the power to decide who you want to be and what you want your life to look like.
